Visual Story of the Hybrid Power Concept
Developed a 3D animated explainer using Adobe Substance, Premiere, and Photoshop to illustrate hybrid generator–battery operation for POWR2’s audience. Conceived and produced this animated graphic to illustrate how a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) works in a hybrid setup with a generator over a 24-hour cycle. Given the original concept image below, I built an animated GIF showing the POWRBANK, a generator, and a 24-hour clock.
As the battery carries the load for roughly 20–21 hours, the POWRBANK’s full-color fill gradually drains to gray to represent a 10% state of charge.
When the generator automatically starts, its image transitions from gray to color as it takes the load and recharges the POWRBANK, which fills back to full color.
This concise visual quickly communicates the core concept—how a BESS and generator share and recharge power—and became one of our most effective marketing graphics. It performed so well that it was even imitated by CAT Equipment on their LinkedIn page.
